Product Information: The Printing Process.
Packaging Your Artwork.
The Process: Giclée.
Giclée is a French term meaning ‘spray or spurt of liquid’. This high quality printing technique is achieved with a combination of state of the art inkjet heads placing the finest droplets of ink onto a variety of textured Fine Art graded papers.
Epson
Unlike traditional lithograph prints, a Giclée. print derives from a high resolution digital. This process renders better colour accuracy and higher detail than traditional printing methods. The colours are also fade resistant and very bright.

These Giclées are produced using Epson's UltraChrome K3 Ink and radiant white watercolour paper (190gsm). This combination of Archival Pigment Inks and Archival paper ensure light fastness for up to 75 years. The artwork is embossed with the company seal in the bottom right hand corner. It is located there in order to be hidden under the mount before framing.

LSJ Viewpoint Seal
Certificate of Authenticity.
Each Limited Edition Giclée. print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by LSJ Viewpoint and the artist. It comes in a plastic sleeve and is embossed with the company seal on a silver wafer.

Please note that specific edition number requests will be honoured wherever possible. Simply notify us at your earliest convenience. In the event that we have already sold that number we will supply the earliest edition number in the run, as standard.

The Process: Packaging.
Paper
In order to ensure that your Limited Edition print arrives in pristine condition it is first wrapped in stiff tracing paper that is sealed with tape. If more than one print is purchased a sheet of tissue paper is placed between them. The sealed print is then mounted onto a corex board using low tack tape on the corners. This stops it sliding about in the parcel.
Postage Another piece of corex board is then placed over the top before it is all wrapped in industrial brown packing paper. It will be clearly labelled as fragile before being dispatched to your destination.

Upon receipt, slit the tape and remove the brown paper. The low tack tape on the corners of the wrapped print are easily peeled away. Unwrap the print with care and keep it packaged until you’re ready to have it framed.
